Masks (2009)
Software: Storyboards done on index cards with graphite. Scanned in Photoshop and made into an animatic in Premiere
Concept: This animatic illustrates a scene from a book in progress, as practice to see how well I could translate the author's writing to visuals. One challenge was showing the tension when the main characters enter the boy's mind and confronts his insanity. The event takes place well into the story, so another focus was to make sure that the visuals make sense to someone who doesn't know the rest of the book.
